The MEACO session conducted during the African Ophthalmology Conference (AOC) held on October 28-29, 2022, was highly successful. The MEACO (Middle East Africa) session conducted during the 4th Middle East Ophthalmology Conference, which took place in Dubai from the 14th to the 16th of October 2022, provided ophthalmologists with an exceptional opportunity to enhance their knowledge and keep up-to-date with the most recent advancements in their field.

The Amman Retina Meeting, which was conducted in conjunction with the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO), the Middle East Africa Vitreo-Retinal Society (MEAVRS), and the Jordanian Ophthalmic Society from June 1-3, 2022, provided an excellent platform for experts in the field to exchange information and insights on the latest developments in the retina subspecialty.

At the virtual Afro-Asian Council of Ophthalmology (AACO) convened on April 18, 2022, ophthalmologists were presented with an opportunity to exchange information regarding the latest developments in their field. A series of lectures delivered during the event imparted a wealth of knowledge and helped to maintain a continuous learning environment, even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

The MEACO Symposium held during the Eurolam Congress of 2022 in Mexico presents an outstanding platform for ophthalmology experts to engage in knowledge-sharing and facilitate research endeavors and publications in the field.

The February 11, 2022 virtual MEACO cataract session, which took place at the Al Qasemi International conference, provided a remarkable opportunity for ophthalmology specialists to collaborate in sharing knowledge, advancing research efforts, and producing publications in cataract specialty.

The MEACO Vitreoretinal Session, held virtually from January 14-15, 2022, as part of the International Muscat Conference, proved to be a success in providing ophthalmologists with up-to-date knowledge in their respective fields. The event demonstrated the continued commitment to ongoing learning despite the challenges posed by the COVID-19 crisis.
